Silverwood

Silverwood is a striking 48 by 48-inch acrylic painting that presents a richly layered forest scene centered around a grove of birch trees. The composition balances the crisp, white trunks of the birches against a vibrant tapestry of leaves and plants that flood both the foreground and background. The foliage is rendered in a dynamic range of colors—from fresh greens to warm yellows, deep reds, and burnt oranges—capturing the essence of autumn’s gradual transformation.
The painting’s bold brushwork emphasizes texture and movement, creating an impressionistic effect that invites close observation without sacrificing the overall sense of natural harmony. Vertical lines of the slender birch trunks provide structure, while the varied leaf shapes and colors introduce a lively energy. This interplay of light and color brings depth and lushness to the scene, illustrating the fleeting beauty found in seasonal change with clarity and warmth.
